Introduction

  • .
‘Vice’ is often defined as corruption, evil, or a fault–in Galactic Vice it means no different.

Galactic Vice is an action packed, fast paced, Real-time strategy game featuring two races at war. Vital mistakes made by a corrupt human empire lead humanity to a catastrophic war against an alien race; one in which humanity is pushed to the brink of extinction.

Players control the battlefield from a top-down perspective and engage in invigorating, epic wars. They begin the game with a small force of troops which they use to expand their dominion by building a base, gathering resources, constructing an army, and combating the enemy who is doing the same.

Depending on what troops you get, the abilities and upgrades you research, and your skill in battle will affect how well you combat the enemy and ultimately whether you win or lose.

Galactic Vice is cross-platform and available for Windows, Linux, and soon to be Mac as well.

Game-play

The gameplay for Galactic Vice is centered around planetary invasions. When invading a planet the fleet engages in space combat while troops are ferried to the ground for surface combat. Galactic Vice focuses on the latter, and has a rich gameplay style that is completely unique to the RTS genre.

In Galactic Vice there are two main resources called Neutronium Alloy and Dilithium Crystals. Crystal is the basis of the game’s economy, and is used for just about everything. Alloy is a bit harder to come by and is used for high-tech troops, upgrades, and researches.

Galactic Vice has two races: The Terran who are the millenia-old descendants of mankind from Earth, and the Nazar who are an ancient race whos’ origin is unkown.
